A newly constructed Dharmashala has been opened for use by the patient and one attending guest. The Dharmashala provides one meal for free everyday. The new building adds to the existing premises and serves 200 people. Construction of the Dharmashala began in 2006

The Hospital was visited by His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Chinna Jeeyar Swami on 23 Jan 2008. The Jeeyar saw the various facilities and enquiries about the functioning of the Hospital. He also interacted with the patients about their health and gave them fruits.

The Annual Scholarship day was conducted on 17-February 2008 at Hotel Green Park where 279 students belonging to various academic fields such as Medicine, Engineering, Arts and Education etc were handed their Scholarship Cheque. The event was attended by members of the management team of Kapil Group and other dignitaries.
